Carriage Charges

1. UK Standard 2 - 3 Day Delivery inc Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands over £30.00 order value - FREE!
2. UK Standard 2 - 3 Day Delivery inc Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands under £30.00 order value - £2.95
3. UK Express Delivery up to 2Kg  - ***PLEASE CONTACT US FOR DETAILS AND PRICES ON NEXT DAY DELIVERY*** - 99% of the UK will receive their goods guaranteed before 1pm the following working day (not Saturdays).  Certain areas of Scotland however may expect delivery before 5pm. ***ORDER MUST BE PLACED BEFORE 2PM ***
4. UK Offshore Islands inc Eire £ 5.95 (please also see following conditions)
5. Rest of the World orders under 1Kg £ 14.00
5. Non UK orders over 1Kg there is an additional surcharge. Please contact us for rates (please also see charges relating to heavier items).
6. Certain heavier items, eg, the Hahn and GNU ranges of airers and racks carry an extra carriage charge to places outside of the UK Mainland - Please contact us for rates.

If you have any query regarding a delivery option not mentioned above, please ask - we will then advise the best possible carriage options in your individual case, depending on where you are and timescale.

We will always despatch goods as soon as possible, but please let us know immediately if goods are required urgently or if we can be of any further help with anything!  Our aim is most certainly to please our customers and we are always here with a friendly helping ear for your benefit - just email or call and we will really, really try and help you. 

Terms

1. All transactions are in pounds sterling.

2. Delivery method is Royal Mail, Parcel Force or by a courier/freight service as appropriate (Airmail for overseas unless requested otherwise by customer).

3. UK Delivery
We will aim to despatch goods within 1-2 working days however, please allow up to 28 days for items that are out of stock or handmade.
Next day delivery service is available on weekdays for goods weighing up to 2kg, please enquire for rates for goods over 2kg & for Saturday deliveries.

4. Overseas Delivery
Including UK Offshore Islands & Eire please allow 14-21 days for delivery. There may be an additional 21 day delay if an item is out of stock or handmade.

5. Christmas Deadlines
Please send your orders as early as possible, but to be placed no later than:
United Kingdom ~ 20th December 2012 (last working dispatch date for 1st class).
Europe, Channel Islands & Eire ~ 12th December 2012
USA ~ 10th December 2012
Rest of the World ~ 5th December 2012
After any of the above dates please contact us, as special delivery may be available at a surcharge.

6. Damaged goods must be returned within 14 days for refund or replacement.  However, please contact us prior to returning goods as occasionally this may be unecessary.  We will also need to notify you of correct returns address.

7. All goods are subject to availability.

8. The prices of the goods for sale remain valid until such a time that they are changed on this website. Any goods ordered will be charged at the price quoted on the website at the time the order was placed.

9. The customer has a right to cancel the order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods (with the exception of made to order items). They will then be entitled to return the goods in an undamaged and unused condition in their original packaging, to the address below. A full refund including delivery postage and packaging will be given within 30 days. On cancellation 'Days Gone By' will not be able to refund return postage and packing costs incurred by the customer.  ***Kindly note there may be a restocking charge upon cancellation of larger items - eg kitchen trolleys***

10.Wherever possible we try to be as environmentally conscious as possible & this includes our packaging! We often recycle our packaging materials & re-use boxes, bubble wrap & shredded paper - do let us know if your purchases are intended as gifts & you would prefer traditional brown paper.
